Bachchans not hosting Diwali bash this year?

Diwali is fast approaching and Bollywood celebrities are celebrating with their annual Diwali bashes. Celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan bring their friends together for the festivities,  but Bachchan will reportedly not throw a Diwali celebration this year as his daughter Shweta lost her father-in-law in August.

Deccan Chronicle reports a source saying, “The Diwali celebration in the Bachchan family is a highlight and the Bachchans look forward to hosting it. The gates are thrown wide open in the evening on Diwali for all of the Bachchans’s  friends  from the  film industry. Not this year, though. All festivities have been put on hold because of the bereavement in the family.”
