Babul Supriyo unhappy with Arijit Singh’s ‘ouster’ from Salman Khan films

Salman Khan had reportedly ousted Arijit Singh from singing in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017), and replaced him with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan an second time, the first allegedly being in ‘Sultan’ (2016). Atif Aslam will also be singing in Sonakshi Sinha’s upcoming ‘Welcome to New York’, and BJP minister & singer Babul Supriyo is not happy with Singh’s replacement.

As according to Deccan Chronicle, Supriyo said, “I am also not sure why Atif got to sing Dil Diya Gallan when Arijit could have done a much better job. The FM stations played the song galore, while news channels announced the name of our soldiers martyred by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists.”

Supriyo’s last Bollywood song was ‘Zara Gungunalein Chalo’ from Rani Mukerji’s ‘Laaga Chunari Mein Daag’, (2007).
