‘Baat Hamari…’ gets chop for new Endemol show

Sony Entertainment Television Asia’s ‘Baat Hamari Pakki Hai’ will be phased out this month to make way for a new show produced by Endemol.

Even though ‘Baat Hamari Pakki Hai’ did well in the ratings initially, the show has not been able to manage to sustain the good-run hence the channel has decided to axe it.

Producers of shows like ‘Bigg Boss’ and ‘Dus Ka Dum’, Endemol will make its debut with a fiction on the channel. The show titled ‘Chajje Chajje Ka Pyaar’ stars Bollywood actor Vivek Mushran, plus Alka Amin, Virendra Saxena, Ritu Vij and Mazher Sayed.

“The show which is set in Delhi is about two neighbours who stay in one house and the two patriarchs are very close to each other and are bosom friends. They have this habit of fighting in the morning, only to make up by the end of the day. The male lead belongs to one family while the girl belongs to the other, and will grow on when the two fall in love”, according to reports.

‘Chajje Chajje Ka Pyaar’ promos went live recently on Sony TV. It is expected to launch on Monday 28th February in the 20:30 slot.
