‘Baadshaho’ feels impact of demonetisation

Recently, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi demonetised the Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes.  The move was to eradicate corruption and black money but, just like the common man, even Bollywood has had to deal with the impact. As such, even Ajay Devgn’s next movie ‘Baadshaho’ has been affected.

According to a report in Times of India, the shooting for the film has been delayed from 19th November to 29th November because the team’s junior artists are mainly paid in cash daily, and now the workflow has been impacted.  Therefore, the production and direction teams feel it is better to start shooting when things settle.

The production team are making arrangements for the payments to be made quickly and the cash are giving full support including, Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta, Vidyut Jamwmal and Ileana D’Cruz.
