B4U’s Asian Wedding Exhibition hailed a success

Popular TV network B4U’s presentation of this year’s Asian Wedding Exhibition has been dubbed a huge success, attracting over 15,000 spectators at the weekend. The Asian Wedding Exhibition was held at the Wembley Exhibition Hall in London on the 11th and 12th February. The highlight of the event was its interest from exhibitors from countries such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, where wedding customs and attires are looked upon. The Asian Wedding Exhibition put on quite an exhilarating show with over 140 stalls, which included 22 exhibitors from India and 7 solely from Pakistan. Unlike other exhibitions, the Asian Wedding Exhibition did not boast of any Bollywood or music stars but purely on Asian wedding gear such as bridal wear, mandaps, limousines, caterers, party decorators, etc. The event also proudly gave away a dream wedding worth a mammoth 30,000 to a lucky winner. It is the first time that the B4U TV network linked itself to the Asian Wedding Exhibition and the response it gained was overwhelming as the vice president of B4U Network, Europe, Bala Iyer commented; “we are delighted with the HUGE success of the Asian Wedding Exhibition this year. It once again re-affirms our popularity amongst the youth and the business community in the UK.” It۪s fair to say that the B4U Network had taken a step back, leaving its rivals to steal the limelight. But this is now set to change. According to insiders at the channel, the network is injecting some fresh ideas to spruce up programming including acquisitions of some mega movies. Beside on air activity, the channel will also be back in the forefront this summer for some mega events. Biz Asia will reveal more soon.
