B4U to release ‘Department’ in UK

B4U has confirmed that it will be releasing Ram Gopal Verma’s upcoming action thriller, ‘Department’ in the UK, through its distribution arm – B4U Pictures.

‘Department’. which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Rana Daggubati, is said to be a story based on a group of encounter specialists of Mumbai Police, who have different perspectives towards separate underworld groups. It is reportedly a follow-up to ‘Company’ (2002).

Bachchan has already worked with Verma on several other films including ‘Sarkar’ (2005), ‘Sarkar Raj’ (2008), ‘Nishabd’ (2007), ‘Ram Gopal Varma ki Aag’ (2007) and ‘Rann’ (2010).

‘Department’ is co-produced by Ram Gopal Varma Films and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.

This is the latest Viacom 18 Motion Pictures film B4U is releasing in the UK after ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ (2011), ‘Players’ (2011) and ‘Kahaani’ (2012).

‘Department’ is slated for release on Friday 18th May.
