B4U Plus to replace A Plus Europe on Sky in April

B4U Network will be launching B4U Plus, its first entertainment channel for both Indian and Pakistani audiences.

BizAsiaLive.com can exclusively reveal that B4U Plus will replace A Plus Europe on Sky in April, on Sky channel 738. A Plus Europe has been broadcasting on the Sky platform since 2017. In early viewing figures that were reported by BARB at the time, the channel was rated below other Pakistani channels in the UK market. However, its new strategy with B4U Plus, is expected to give the channel and its content a huge lift.

B4U Plus’ hybrid programming will consist of Bollywood movie titles from the B4U Movies library, as well as fictions from A Plus Europe and cookery shows from Pakistan, India and some recorded locally in the UK.

B4U Plus is already a popular channel in the Middle East, whether it can replicate the same success in an already saturated UK market, remains to be seen.
