B4U Plus schedule revealed ahead of UK launch

B4U Network will be strengthening its market presence in the UK on Monday (15th April), with the launch of its first General Entertainment Channel (GEC), B4U Plus.

As revealed first on BizAsiaLive.com, B4U Plus will be a hybrid service consisting of Urdu fiction and non-fiction shows from A Plus TV, Bollywood movies and lifestyle shows from the B4U library.

Ahead of the launch, BizAsiaLive.com can exclusively reveal what the channel’s programming schedule will look like.

B4U Plus’ daytime schedule from 05:00 until 19:00 will be filled with repeats of shows aired the previous day. The shows concluded for telecast are ‘Maazi’, ‘Bhai’ and ‘Chandan Haar’. The channel will also re-run popular series ‘Meherbaan’. Morning magazine show ‘Meri Subha Haseen’ will air weekdays at 09:00 for 90-minutes and repeat at 16:30 and midnight.

Beside fictions, the channel will broadcast a strand called ‘Retro’ featuring classic songs at 07:00 (06:00 on Sundays).

B4U Plus will broadcast Bollywood movies at 13:00 every Saturday and Sunday afternoon. The rest of the B4U Plus weekend schedule will consist of omnibus edition of weekday fictions.

B4U Plus will replace A Plus Europe on Sky channel 838 from Monday 15th April.
