B4U Network wins ‘Broadcaster Of The Year’

At an auspicious function held at the house of Commons on Thursday last week, B4U Network was awarded the ‘Asian Broadcaster Of The Year’ at the Asian Voice Political and Public Life Awards 2011.

The awards acknowledges the notable achievements amongst the Asian community and was attended by over 200 guests consisted of renowned individuals from Media, Politics and Business, including Labour Party Leader Rt. Hon Ed Miliband MP.

Winning the honourable award for ‘Asian Broadcaster Of The Year’ is a accomplishment that marks B4U�۪s ongoing success over the past eleven years. The channel has taken Asian broadcasting to unexpected heights, especially with their recent ventures and progression.

Over the past two years B4U has expanded and evolved with technology, being the first Asian channel to launch an iPhone Application, venturing into print media via the now established Bollywood Glitz magazine and Film distribution which includes the recent hit ‘Patiala House’.

Sunil Rohra, CEO of B4U Network, who was present on the evening to collect the award, stated, “It is such an honour to receive the award for ��Asian Broadcaster Of The Year�۪. I would like to thank the Asian Voice for recognising the growth, expansion and impact B4U has had on Asian television over the past 11 years. We will continue to bring the magic of Bollywood to homes worldwide as we look forward to another successful year of broadcasting!”

This commendable award follows B4U�۪s recent international recognition; last November they were presented with an award in Toronto for appreciation from Canadian minister, Honouree Gurbax Singh Malhi, P.C.C, MP, Bramalea-Gore- Malton at the launch of the North American edition of the highly popular Bollywood Glitz Magazine.
