B4U Music to join Sky Original Pack in August

For the first time since its launch in the UK, B4U Music will be going behind an encryption wall in August.

BizAsiaLive.com can exclusively reveal that B4U Music will be joining its sister channel, B4U Movies, as well as a slew of other channels in the Sky Original Pack from Tuesday 1st August. The UK Asian television industry is bracing itself for its biggest change in years with all major TV networks being available in the same pack for the first time. As revealed first on BizAsiaLive.com , ZEE TV, ZEE Cinema, ZEE Punjabi, Sony Entertainment Television, Sony MAX, Sony Mix, B4U Movies and B4U Music will be available in the basic Sky pack from August. Star Plus, Star Gold, Star Utsav and Life OK are already a part of the pack. Other channels are also expected to join.

B4U Music – the UK’s most watched Asian music channel, has proved to be the one-stop shop for Bollywood music on UK television. It will be interesting to see how the channel’s audience reacts to the changes come August. Currently, B4U Music regularly clocks up a weekly reach of over 300,000 viewers.
