B4U Movies secures three big Bachchan movies

In a surprise move, B4U Movies, which has been quiet in acquiring exclusive movie deals for a while, has purchased three major Bachchan movies for its channel.

B4U Movies will be screening three blockbuster movies exclusively. ‘Umrao Jaan’ starring Abhishek Bachchan, ‘Guru’ starring Abhishek Bachchan and the yet to be released ‘Nishabd’ will all get their exclusive television premieres on the Bollywood movie channel.

This development, however, is another boost for the broadcaster after the declaration by an independent research for the second consecutive year that sister channel B4U Music is the number one* channel in the UK.

The acquiring of rights for movies such as ‘Guru’ and ‘Umrao Jaan’ has even more significance as the leading pair in both movies ��� Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai got engaged last week and are scheduled to tie the knot sometime next month.
