Azhar Javaid,Senior Pakistani Journalist and head of international news operations of Dunya Media Group has resigned and joining Samaa TV as Global head news operation /Analyst.
Javaid leaves Dunya after a 14-year stint. He has been hired by Samaa TV as Global Head of the Group to overseas operations out of Pakistan .
Javaid, a prominent Pakistani media person who has experience of more than 25 years in the media industry, is currently serving notice period.
As well as overlooking international operations at Samaa TV, Azhar will host weekly shows for international audiences and will also contribute as an analyst on-air.

During his tenure at Dunya News, Javaid established international operations of Dunya Media Group in UK, Europe, Middle East and other countries.
He played a prominent part in the success of Dunya News in UK and Europe by local community based reporting .
Prior to Dunya News, Javaid worked at Geo TV and ARY.
