Ayushmann-Kriti together in ‘Bareily Ki Barfi’?

With new jodis coming upon us thick and fast this year, it seems yet another is set to be unleashed. News has it that Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon are soon to come together for a film called ‘Bareily Ki Barfi’, produced by Junglee Pictures and BR Studios.

Along with Rajkummar Rao, the Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari directorial is said to be a romantic comedy.��Priti Shahani, President of Junglee Pictures, confirmed to Mumbai Mirror, “It’s a unique romcom rooted in Uttar Pradesh. We start shooting in the first week of October after conducting a few workshops with the actors in September”.

Kapil Chopra of BR Studios added, “It’s a fun film. Kriti’s family owns a mithai shop and that’s where the story takes off and hence the title. I always say Kriti is my Bareily Ki Barfi in the film”.

Rao will be seen as an author in the film, Khurrana will be seen as the owner of a printing press and Sanon will be seen as a girl who is liberal.
