Ayushmann Khurrana to reunite with ‘Andhadhun’ director Sriram Raghavan?

Sriram Raghavan has redefined thrillers in Bollywood, and his last film ‘Andhadhun’ (2018) is a perfect example of it. And now buzz has it that Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to collaborate with Sriram Raghavan once again for a thriller.

According to reports a reunion of the hit actor-director duo is on the cards. “Sriram has pitched an idea to Ayushmann and he has liked it very much. In fact, he has also given his nod to the project. Sriram had taken time off to write two scripts. This is yet again a typical Sriram Raghavan film which will be dark, intriguing and mysterious,” a source told the media.

However, the report dismisses rumours of the film being a sequel to ‘Andhadhun,’ reports India Today. “Sriram doesn’t believe in making sequels and franchises. Although there’s been enough talk about Andhadhun 2, this film isn’t that one. It’s a new project with a completely fresh plotline and he plans to mount it sometime this year, after Ayushmann completes Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan,” added the source.

Khurrana, who is basking in the success of ‘Article 15’ (2018), is one star who has been making fearless choices in Bollywood for quite some time now. Staying away from the quintessential hero image, Khurrana is making unconventional choices, and that’s what is working in his favour.
