His debut film proved a hit with audiences and now Ayushmann Khurrana is back with his ‘Vicky Donor’ (2012) director Shootjit Sircar with a film in which he will be seenplaying a struggling actor.
Times of India report the actor confirming “The film is partly based in Kochi and will have me in a different avatar. He has been signed by filmmaker Rohan Sippy for a film named ‘Nautanki Saala’ andthe film with Sircar called ‘Jaffna’.
Talking about Sippy’s film, Khurrana revealsthat he will be playing a theatre actor, “‘NautankiSala’is in the post production phase. I play a theatre actor, who is like Ram in real life but plays Ravan on stage.” Rumour has it that the actor has also turned to music for this film, having composed a song and sung five songs.
