Ayushmann Khurrana: “Sriram (Raghavan) sir demands a lot from his actors”

Ayushmann Khurrana is one actor who seems to be taking things slow when it comes to venturing out with different types of roles. Set to star in Sriram Raghavan’s next as a blind musician, it seems he’s taking the right steps in getting there. Catching up with the media, the actor spoke candidly about working with the filmmaker and what it took to get into this character.

“Sriram sir demands a lot from his actors. He will give you a situation and the milieu and ask you to react on it, and that is quite amazing. I am from the theatre background and so it was fun,” DNA India report Khurrana stating.

Talking about preparing for the role, he went on to add, “It was not easy (to play this role). I know music, I can play guitar, but learning piano from scratch… I had given a lot of time to learn it.”

Apparently, this project also has the actor taking on some action sequences. He explained, “It was tough as it is something new that I am trying. It was a crazy ride. I am anxious as well as excited for the film.”

Currently titled ‘Shoot The Piano Player’, the film also stars Radhika Apte and Tabu.
