Many Bollywood actors and actresses are well-known in cinema of other languages before they even join Hindi cinema. However, the multi-talented Ayushmann Khurrana – who has so far only tried his hand at Hindi cinema – has said he’s open to doing Punjabi films.
The actor, whose next offering ‘Hawaizaada’ is set for release this week, told PTI, “I am open to Punjabi films. That۪s because it۪s my language. And if there is a novel idea, out of the box concept, I will be open to it. It۪s easier to act in the language you are thinking”.
“I just want to evolve with every character, every film. That۪s the dream (in Bollywood). I don۪t keep any crazy aspirations. I am a very normal person with very simple lifestyle. My simplicity, I think, is my USP, ” he commented.
‘Hawaizaada’ is directed by Vibhu Puri and will see Khurrana opposite Pallavi Sharda.
