Ayushmann Khurrana on ‘Manmarziyan’ being shelved

BizAsiaLive.com reported a few days ago that Aanand L Rai’s production ‘Manmarziyan’ may well have been shelved after it faced a number of obstacles. Now, male leas Ayushmann Khurrana – who had begun shooting for the film a few months ago – has given his take.

“Aanand and I did discuss about Ashwiny taking over the film. Unfortunately, our dates couldn’t match. I became busy with Meri Pyaari Bindu and Bhumi with her film Toilet – Ek Prem Katha. I don’t know us film ka kya hoga,” said Khurrana to Filmfare. Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari was brought into the project as director after Sameer Sharma left the venture.

The actor added, “There were creative differences. So I guess, we lost the flow. It’s unfortunate. I’d love to work with Bhumi again… more so now in her new glam avatar”.

Along with ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’, Khurrana will also be seen in ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’.
