With Bollywood producing more films than any other film industy in the world, it’s understandable that actors would be spoilt for choice when it comes to signing a film. So there’s no surprise when, after saying yes, actor Ayushmann Khurrana suddenly backed out of Ramesh Sippy’s directorial comeback.

The filmmaker, who last sat in the director’s chair for the film ‘Zamaana Deewana’ (1995), approached Khurrana for the remake of a foreign film which he agreed to do straight away. However, a week later, Sippy was shocked to learn that the actor didn’t want to do the film anymore. Times of Indiareported a source explaining, “Ayushmannhad a chat with Rohan (Sippy) about the project and after watching the original, he instantly agreed to be a part of the remake.Ayushmann attended the party. Rohan got quite a shock, when after a week, the actor told him that he will not do the film.”

When the media contacted Khurrana’s team, they said, “We are in talks on several projects but have neither signed nor declined any so far. We are waiting for the right script.”Does this mean Khurrana may have got a better offer somewhere else?
