BizAsiaLive.com recently reported how India’s state broadcaster Doordarshan, will undergo a major change where they have invited members of the public to come up with a new logo design. However there are some who don’t want the change to be made, including Ayushmann Khurrana.
Upon hearing the news the actor took to social media site Twitter to express, “Please don’t change the Doordarshan logo. It represents my childhood.”
With the original logo representing an eye being the channels symbol since 1959 it’s no surprise that there is a sense of nostalgia for many. However, in a plot to attract more younger viewers it seems they feel a while re-brand is a step in the right direction.
