Ayan Mukerji’s father Deb Mukerji passes away
Ayan Mukerji
Deb Mukerji, the father of filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, has passed away at the age of 83.
The veteran actor had been receiving extended medical treatment at a hospital in Mumbai.
His daughter, former actress Sharbani Mukerji, confirmed the news to Mid-Day, stating, “He passed away peacefully in his sleep this morning at 7:30 am.”

Deb Mukerji was also the uncle of actress Kajol. His brother, Joy Mukherjee, was an actor, and another brother, Shomu Mukherjee, was married to actress Tanuja.
