AVTA 2019: Nomination process begins

The Asian Viewers Television Awards (AVTA) will return this year for a sixth consecutive year.

AVTA 2019, is the only event to solely celebrate the success of Asian television in the UK market. It is helmed by media veteran, Rajan Singh.

The nomination process begins online today, 21st October, at midday (UK) and will continue until Monday 28th October 2019. The nominations will then immediately lead into the voting process starting on Tuesday 29th October until Sunday 10th November 2019.

Viewers will be able to vote for their favourite TV channels, actors and shows from the short list after the nomination process ends. As like last year, the nominations and voting process will be available to UK viewers only, with a geo-block in place to prevent viewers from outside the UK participating.

In terms of nominations, only TV channels and shows broadcast during 1st August 2018 and 31st July 2019 will be eligible.
