Athiya Shetty talks about “mixed response” for ‘Hero’

Newcomer Athiya Shetty has opened up about the mixed response she received from critics for her debut film ‘Hero’.

The actor told Hindustan Times, “I received positive feedback for my performance, and for the chemistry that Sooraj (Pancholi; co-star) and I shared on screen. But, at the end of the day, I know it is impossible to make everyone happy. Being part of the industry for so long, my father (Suniel Shetty) always says, ���With success comes failure.�۝ So, I know that nobody is perfect. I take criticism constructively. Sometimes, you need to filter the negative comments, because you can�۪t take every comment that comes your way seriously.”

She also spoke about the comparisons being made to Sonam Kapoor, she said, “I am too new to the industry to be compared to her. She has earned a big name in Bollywood, and she is one of the most beautiful female actors around. She has created a league of her own.”
