Athiya Shetty: “Sonam & Rhea are setting a trend”

Athiya Shetty, who has many times before praised Sonam Kapoor’s fashion sense, has gone on record to praise Sonam and Rhea Kapoor for setting a trend with the kind of movies they make. Shetty has specifically referred to the duo’s upcoming venture, ‘Veere Di Wedding’, which stars four actresses in leading roles.

Shetty��told��Mid Day, “There needs to be more two-heroine films. Bollywood could do with its version of ‘Sex and the City’. Sonam and Rhea (Kapoor) are setting quite the trend with ‘Veere’ Di Wedding’ and making films where ladies are living it up.”

After her debut in ‘Hero’ (2015), Athiya Shetty took quite some time before signing her second film. ��However, the actress has now zeroed in on her next and will��be seen in Anees Bazmee’s ‘Mubarakan’ alongside Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz.
