Athiya Shetty signed to play Sanjay Dutt’s daughter

There was buzz not long ago that Athiya Shetty was to star alongside Sanjay Dutt. Although nothing is thought to have come of it, it does indeed seem as if Shetty will be seen playing Dutt’s daughter in Siddharth Anand’s film.

Dutt has been training for the which will require him to do some hardcore action scenes. Shetty too is also training in mixed martial arts because she too will be seen in an action-packed role.

Earlier it was being said that Anand was keen on signing Kriti Sanon for the role but now rumour mills suggest Shetty is the one who bagged the role.

The film’s title is apparently ‘Badlaa’.
