Athiya Shetty replaces Kriti Sanon in Sanjay Dutt’s next?

Newcomer Athiya Shetty seems to have replaced Kriti Sanon in Siddharth Anand’s next film ‘Badlaa’ starring Sanjay Dutt.

According to DNA India, the two producers of the film – ZEE Studios and Kriarj Entertainment – have varied opinion on the actress they would like to see cast in the film. While, ZEE Studios is favouring Sanon, Kriarj Entertainment is keen for Shetty portray the role of Dutt’s daughter in the film.

A source told the publication, ���Dutt and Athiya�۪s dad Sunil are very close, and it is but natural that Sanju would want her to play the female protagonist. She is Dutt�۪s recommendation. Both the actresses fit the bill for this hardcore action film, but Sanju is very keen to have Athiya on board, as is she.�۝
