Assalam TV launches in TV 99’s Sky EPG slot

Islamic channel, Assalam TV has launched on the Sky Digital platform this evening.

Assalam TV has taken over TV 99’s EPG 842 channel slot. TV 99 will continue online via its website. It is not yet clear whether Assalam TV will be a permanent service or if it will be available during the month of Ramadan only. Assalam TV is set to officially begin broadcasting next week to coincide with Ramadan.

It is reported that the new service will broadcast live from the Saudi Arabia city of Madinah Munawarah.

Assalam TV is available on Sky channel 842.
