Asrani to make TV debut on Sony SAB

Bollywood legendary comic, Asrani is set to make his debut on TV, which will be produced by writer Anjana Sood and writer Vicky Chandra under their new banner MBW Productions. Currently, the comedy channel has commissioned MBW to make the pilot of the show.

A source has already told TellyChakkar, that Asrani has shot for the pilot. The show being a sitcom with a musical layering, Asrani will be essaying the role of a big Bhajan Samrat.

Apart from Asrani, there are also few other names in the star cast. The show also stars Gujarati actress Mona Theeba and Gaurav Gera who are playing the main leads. This apart it also has Neelima Parandekar and the recently engaged Shivani Gosain and Ashwin Kaushal essaying pivotal roles.

The currently untitled show will be screened on Sony SAB TV.
