This much awaited Asian Viewers Television Awards (AVTA) for 2016 have officially been announced.

BizAsiaLive.com can exclusively confirm that the prestigious event, now in its third year, will be held on Saturday 26th November at a five-star Central London hotel (TBC). AVTA is the brainchild of Rajan Singh, who heads Digi Media Global and Lyca Media.

Unlike previous years, the launch announcement of AVTA 2016 was scheduled much later. However, BizAsiaLive.com understands that organisers had actually planned to keep the announcement underwraps until now. It was a conscious decision as the event is taking place November-end instead of October. BizAsiaLive.com can exclusively also reveal that nominations will be published on Thursday.

For the third consecutive year, BizAsiaLive.com is the exclusive online media partner for the event.

Rajan Singh from Digi Media Global said, “After two huge successful years, AVTA has gone from strength to strength and an awards ceremony that the Asian TV industry is proud of. We will be introducing some new features this year too.”

Raj Baddhan, Co-Founder of BizAsiaLive.com said, “It’s a great honour for the BizAsia brand to be associated once again with the third Asian Viewers Television Awards. Its become an important date in the UK media calendar to celebrate the finest Asian television in the country.”

Details of host and stars attending this year’s event are yet to be announced. Keep it with BizAsiaLive.com for exclusive updates.
