Asian Network unveils new ‘Weekend Breakfast’

The BBC Asian Network has revealed its latest change to the new schedule – a new weekend breakfast show with popular presenter Amanda Hussain.

The ‘Weekend Breakfast Show’ as the programme is be called will launch this Saturday (15th July) on the BBC Asian Network, offering a fresh take on the week�۪s news, music, sport and gossip to strengthen the BBC Asian Network�۪s mainstream appeal.

The ‘Weekend Breakfast’ has been fronted by various presenters since Anita Rani was shifted to host the network’s ‘Mid-Morning Discussion Show’ back in April.

New features on the ‘Weekend Breakfast’ include:
-Bitch Hollywood/Bitch Bollywood, offering the inside track on showbiz gossip from Los Angeles and Mumbai
-How Hot am I gives listeners the opportunity to put themselves forward for romantic scrutiny
-Ask the Family tests listeners�۪ knowledge of their own siblings or parents in explosive and hilarious ways

Amanda, a former presenter of Network East, is already familiar to BBC Asian Network listeners, having guest presented across the station since its launch.
