The BBC Asian Network will be joining hands with the London Mela again this year, for the second consecutive time.

Singer Raghav, Bhangra artist Jassi Sidhu, Taz and Bollywood vocalist Labh Janjua will all grace the main stage as BBC Asian Network brings listeners the action from the London Mela on Sunday 10th August.

The station announced that its ‘Mix Tent’ will consist of Asian Network DJ۪s like Kayper, Panjabi Hit Squad, Sonny Ji, Ameet Chana and Nerm will mix up the freshest Desi beats, Hip-hop, Bhangra and Drum ‘n’ Bass showcasing the stations commitment to new music.

In a statement, the BBC Asian Network said, “the station is proud to be the principal media partner for this huge event which last year attracted 75,000 people, on Sunday 10th August and has supplied the acts on the main stage in Gunnersbury Park as well as hosting the Mix Tent. The station will provide live coverage from 14:00 of all the action from Gunnersbury Park and feature interviews from the key players who organise this huge event on Sonia Deol۪s show (weekdays from 09:00) in the run up to the Mela.”
