Asian Football Awards to be telecast on Sony TV

The first ever Asian Football Awards (AFA) will be broadcast on Sony Entertainment Television Asia this Friday at 19:30.

Supported by The FA and Kick Out many sport officials and dignitaries who came to encourage the nominees at the extravagant ceremony which took place on Tuesday 24th January at the home of football, Wembley Stadium.

Guests included David Bernstein (FA Chairman), Paul Elliot, Gurinder Chadha (Bend It Like Beckham), Michael Chopra and Manish Bhasin.

The AFA aim to encourage Asians in football and provide the support they need by engaging with key representatives from national clubs and organisations such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspurs.
