Asia TV launches as IPTV service on Freeview

A new British Asian IPTV service has launched on Freeview.

Asia TV is a platform initiated to engage British born Asians and ethnic immigrants with ongoing local updates to strengthen inter-community networking. Asia TV also endeavours to increase business opportunities for Asians to flourish and create a stronger market share.

Asia TV will primarily broadcast local and regional news programming, lifestyle and entertainment programming. It is available on IPTV Freeview channel 274, Play Store (Asia TV Global) and web player on www.asiatelevision.co.uk.

The channel will officially begin broadcasting next week, with a programming schedule set to be unveiled at the end of March.
