Despite his last venture in this genre not having done well at the box office, Ashutosh Gowariker isn’t hindered as news suggests, he is in the midst of preparing for his next period drama.

As DNA reports, whereby the filmmaker’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’ (2016) was a fictitious story, his next will be based on true events. The story in question will apparently be based on a Maharaja who helped refugee orphans from Poland during the Second World War, bringing them to his palace in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

The report went on to add how Gowariker has been given the go ahead by the family as well as some of the Polish survivors who are now back in Poland.
