'DID Lil Masters' pushes ZEE TV in ratings

After a twelve-year stint at ZEE TV India, Ashish Golwalkar, head of non-fiction programming has called it quits.

“Yes, I have quit. I am taking a break before I move on to my next venture,” Golwalkar told IndianTelevision.

Golwalkar has been looking after non-fiction programmes on the channel since 2008, where he has been responsible for the hit show ‘Dance India Dance’.

“Golwalkar’s innings at ZEE has been very fruitful. He is leaving at a time when DID has got its peak rating of 8 TVR and the channel has become No.1 for the week ended 18 August,” said a ZEE official who did not want his name to be revealed.
