ARY Family UK to broadcast ‘Shan-e-Ramadan’ fronted by Waseem Badami

ARY Family has announced its Ramadan 2019 special programming, with an exhilarating line-up of shows. With more entertainment, more exciting as well as religiously themed programs and bigger celebrities.

‘Shan-e-Ramadan’, will be Pakistan’s biggest Ramadan transmission this year hosted by the charismatic Waseem Badami, featuring a plethora of religious segments. From explanation of Quranic verses to discussions on Islamic history, each segment is designed to inspire and rejuvenate the audience’s faith during the holy month. The title track of ‘Shan-e-Ramadan’ is a mesmerizing and soulful composition, featuring the entire ARY family and aims to promote harmony and peace in this blessed month.

Transmissions will be conducted during both Seher and Iftar, cratering to all age groups with an impressive range of celebrities and well-known persons as guests. From the segments, Shan-e-Sukhan will feature poetry, while the debate competition Zavia will highlight the prowess of young debaters from various cities in Pakistan.

Shan-e-Ilm, a quiz segment, where students from different universities will be judged on their knowledge of the deen based on questions of increasing difficulty. Iqrar-Ul Hassan will host a special segment, Naiki, which will aim to collect and provide aid to those individuals and families in dire need of financial and medical assistance due to severe ailments.

Younger children will be in for a treat as they celebrate their first roza in Roza Kushai, breaking their fast surround by love and admiration of all those present.

In order to promote and uplift religious understanding and harmony, the transmission will also feature a special segment Aalim Aur Alam which will feature religious scholars from different sects. One of the highlights of the transmission this year will be Shan-e-Madina, an extensive naat competition in Pakistan for boys and girls under 12 years of age, following auditions in 6 major cities of the country.

Following the Iftar transmission of Shan-e-Ramadan, the evening will commence with an exciting and energetic Fahad Mustufa hosting a new episode every day of the biggest game show in Pakistan, ‘Jeeto Pakistan’. Full of exciting and fun filled games, where the audience members will get a chance to win amazing gifts and prizes.

‘Shan-e-Ramadan’ transmissions will begin from the 1st of Ramadan, accordingly to moon sighting in Pakistan.
