ARY Digital to telecast ‘Dabbang 2’ parody

Popular Pakistani entertainment channel, ARY Digital will be telecasting the parody of ‘Dabbang 2’ – along the lines of the superhit Bollywood blockbuster.

The TV version is based on the Salman Khan hit movie, a story of Chulbul Pandey, a totally fearless but corrupt police officer with unorthodox working methods. But even the most fearless at times face a tough fight with the innermost demons. And then comes Rajo, a simple family oriented girl who changes his life and becomes his partner in every walk of life.

The TV adapation will be directed by Kamran Khan and stars Sikander Sanam as Chulbul Pandey, Sana Humayun as Rajo, Pervaiz Siddiqui as Makhanchan and Saleem Afridi as Cheddi Singh.

Previously the channel has successfully run parodies of films like ‘Billu’ and ‘Ghajini’.

‘Dabbang 2’ will be shown on ARY Digital on Saturday 26th February at 22:00. Incidentally, ‘Dabangg 2’ was top rated on ARY Digital in Pakistan last week.
