ARY Digital to launch Zoom TV in January

The much delayed yet exciting launch of India’s showbiz channel Zoom TV will be taking place in January on Sky Digital UK.

The channel will be distributed by ARY Digital. An insider at ARY Digital confirmed the development to BizAsia.co.uk today.

Zoom TV is Indian TV with a difference. The channel will showcase a mixture of lifestyle and fashion, music based shows, film entertainment, celebrity chat shows, celebrity game shows, astrology and the paranormal. It will broadcast in Hindi predominantly, with English shows also in the offing.

ARY Digital has been planning to launch Zoom TV since May this year. The channel was expected to go live in October but was delayed due to Sky’s long waiting list of channels wanting to launch.

Zoom TV will launch by the third week of January 2007. An exact date will be announced in the next few days. Keep it with us for more.
