Aruna Irani back with new offering for Sony

Aruna Irani will be back with her new offering, this time for Sony Entertainment Television Asia.

‘Vaidehi’ will see Pallavi Kulkarni on the screen after a considerable gap, ‘Kehta Hai Dil’ was her last serial, deals with a social issue. According to sources, it is about the incompatible relationship between a husband and wife.

The soap will also star Sachin Sharma, Nikhil Arya, Kiran Kumar and Aruna Irani.

Aruna Irani’s last drama ‘Rabba Ishq Na Hovve’ proved unsuccessful and was axed by ZEE TV a couple of months back. Her past soaps ‘Tum Bin Jaon Kahan’, ‘Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand’ and ‘Menhdi Tere Naam Ki’ all have been runaway rating hits.

‘Vaidehi’ will be a one hour weekly and will air Tuesday nights from 6th June.

Sony TV has been in revamp mode with at least two shows being launched every month since March. Along with ‘Vaidehi’ in June, another drama Dheeraj Kumar�۪s ‘Man Mein Hai Vishwas’ will also make its debut.
