Arshad Warsi to fill in for Kapil Sharma on ‘Comedy Nights’

Arshad Warsi has been confirmed as one of the celebrity hosts to cover for Kapil Sharma on ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’.

In a tweet posted by the actor, Warsi said, “OMG.. Had an Awesome time with Ajay D, Tabu & Shriya Saran at Comedy Night’s with Kapil. I hosted the show, hope you like it.” The episode was filmed today and featured the stars of ‘Drishyam’. It will be broadcast on Colors this weekend.

Creative Director of the show, Preeti Simoes told Times Of India, ���As Kapil is unwell, he couldn�۪t shoot. It can take one or two weeks for him to get well. If he (Kapil) is still unwell��_ He can�۪t do it��_ Then we will have Sajid Khan, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Arjun Kapoor and others to be a part of the show�۝, Preeti Simoes told PTI. ���These people will act according to their personality on the show. It is sweet of them to have agreed to take this up. The other family members from the show will continue to be part of it.”

Sharma is expected to return next month.
