Arshad Warsi replaced Nawazuddin Siddiqui in ‘Aankhen 2’?

News surrounding the cast of Anees Bazmee’s upcoming venture ‘Aankhen 2’ has been doing the rounds for several days.

If its not Ileana D’Cruz threatening legal action against the makers for associating her name with the film, when she had not signed it. Then its about snubbing Akshay Kumar, who had starred in the original ‘Aankhen’. Now latest murmur has it that Arshad Warsi replaced the role that was initially offered to Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

According to SpotBoye, a script narration of the film was given to Siddiqui and had even given his nod to the project. However, the final cast had finalised Warsi for the same role. A source told the publication, ���Nawazuddin was shocked to know that he was replaced by Arshad and that too, in such an unceremonious manner.�۝

Gaurang Doshi told the publication, ���No, Nawazuddin was never approached for the film.�۝
