Arshad Warsi opts out of ‘Peekay’

As Rajkumar Hirani is gathering his cast for his upcoming venture ‘Peekay’, news has it that actor Arshad Warsi will not be a part of the project anymore.

Apparently, as Warsi also has the film ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ to shoot for, the scheduling for both films began to clash, which left Warsi in a difficult position. “Rajkumar Hirani wanted me to do��‘Peekay‘. Unfortunately, the dates of��‘Dedh Ishqiya‘��and��‘Peekay‘��were clashing. And I had to choose one project. So I decided to go with��‘Dedh Ishqiya‘,” Times of India��reported the actor stating.

Hirani and Warsi joined forces in the ‘Munnabhai’ films, which were all well received by audiences and critics alike. ‘Peekay’ will star Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput, all playing pivotal roles. It has been rumoured the the ‘Munnabhai’ himself Sanjay Dutt, will also be making and appearance in the film. Let’s just hope Warsi made the right decision here.
