Recent news had it that Arjun Rampal’s forthcoming gangster biopic film ‘Daddy’ was delayed. However it seems the production of the film is back on track, and the most of the shooting has been done already.
The film is based on the life of real life gangster Arun Gawli. Talking about the production,Mid-Day reported Rampal stating, “A major portion has already been shot. We have about eight to 10 days of shooting left which we should be able to complete by the month-end. We wanted to shoot during this time of the year since that۪s what the script demanded.”
The film has taken two years to get to this stage. When the film fell into production issues, Rampal decided to take up the producing duties. He went on to say, “We have done a lot of research. It wasn۪t easy to shoot for the film as we had to through timelines of several decades.”
The film will also starAishwarya Rajesh, who will be marking her debut with the film.
