Arjun Rampal unaware of Farhan Akhtar’s role in ‘Daddy’

Once the photos did the rounds, there were reports that Farhan Akhtar was playing underworld don Dawood Ibrahim in Arun Gawli biopic ‘Daddy’. However, Arjun Rampal who essays Gawli in the film has said Akhtar’s role is a surprise even for him.

“I don’t know, who is saying he is playing Dawood, you (media) all are saying that (Farhan is playing Dawood). It’s a surprise for me and for the film,” said Rampal to PTI.

Rampal went on to say that he was upset that his look in the film was leaked when the makers had wanted to keep it secret. “I was very upset when the look was out as somebody sneakily took (captured) the picture. It is very disappointing. I am not happy. There is a technique. We have spent time on all this and I wanted to unveil the look in a special way,” concluded Rampal.

Rampal’s next is ‘Kahaani 2’ which is slated for release next month.
