Not always playing the chocolate hero has definitely worked in Arjun Rampal’s favour, and his next project will see him in what maybe the most interesting roles of his career.
Arun Gawli is a politician who founded the Indian political party Akhil Bharatiya Sena. However before entering politics, Gawli was one of India’s most notorious gangsters who has been imprisoned for life for his criminal activities. According to Times of India,��Rampal has been signed to play the role of Gawli in a biopic based on the gangster’s life. Scripted by Marathi film writer��Sachin Darekar, a source was reported revealing, “Sachin has been working on the script for the past one year. The makers have met Gawli’s family and all the permissions are in place.”
The yet untitled film will be directed by UK based director��Gaurav Bavdankar.
