Arjun Kapoor is looking favourite to bag the lead role in the film adaption of Chetan Bhagat’s novel ‘Revolution 2020’.

Hindustan Times reports that the actor has already been approached for the narration of the script. If successful, this could be the second Bhagat film he will star in after ‘2 States’ (2014).

A source told the publication, “Yes, Arjun has got a call for the film. He will soon meet director Rajkumar Gupta, who has in the past helmed No One Killed Jessica (2011). And, apparently, he is kicked about the possibility of doing the film (due to the adaptation angle).”

Kapoor has become the production house’s golden boy after the sucess of ‘2 States’. However, confirmation can take a couple of months.

Kapoor has already on record to say that he is not in a hurry to sign new films, “He is on the verge of wrapping up his father (Boney Kapoor) and uncle۪s (Sanjay Kapoor) production, which has been emotionally and physically draining for him. Once he gets done with it, he will focus on other movies.”
