Arjun Kapoor has spoken about marriage plans. Although he has not said there is anyone in his life at present, the actor spoke about getting to know someone ahead of marriage.
Following the divorce of his parents when he was young, Kapoor was adamant that he wouldn’t get married. However as he has grown older, his stance seems to have changed. Speaking to Huffington Post India, Kapoor said “I was very conflicted about it. I was convinced that I would never get married. But I have mellowed down.”
The actor shared his vulnerability and opened up about his fears for being lonely. When he does eventally meet someone he would prefer to get to know his partner and live with her before taking the step of marriage. “When you turn 32, you don’t like the feeling that you’ll just be by yourself for the rest of your life. At the end of the day, you need a partner. That vacancy exists and I would like to complete that emptiness with a live-in relationship. I would like to know somebody intimately enough to decide whether I can commit to her for the rest of our lives”, he added, as reported by Indian Express.
Kapoor’s film ‘Half Girlfriend’ opened across cinemas yesterday.
