Arjun Kapoor sees positive side to working at Diwali

Where this year’s Diwali celebrations will be very quiet due to the coronavirus pandemic, the likes of Arjun Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Yami Gautam will be spending their Diwali in Dharamshala as they continue to shoot for their forthcoming film ‘Bhoot Police’. Despite not being able to spend the festival with his family, Kapoor is staying positive and looking on the bright side.

“I am lucky I am getting to work this year after everything we’ve seen. My close ones understand that the less we socialise and the more we maintain distance, the sooner it helps us prevail against the virus. All our festivities teach us that we don’t need to be with one another to celebrate. It’s the emotion, it’s the feeling,” Deccan Chronicle reports the actor stating.

Kapoor went on to add that the cast and crew will celebrate together, after which they will all have the day off to connect with their families.

Hoping that people will soon be able to get back together, the actor expressed, “By next Diwali, I hope we are back on our feet. I wish we can entertain more people, both in the theatres and on OTT platforms.”
