Arjun Kapoor rubbishes rumours about Katrina Kaif

Arjun Kapoor and Katrina Kaif share a great equation but rumours suggested that the two saw each other as brother-sister. In fact, it was being said that Kaif tied Kapoor a rakhi some six years ago. However, Kapoor has denied that that ever happened and insists it was a something said in jest.

According to Hindustan Times, Kapoor said, “It was just a joke that I guess has been taken too far. She (Katrina) used to threaten me that she will tie me a rakhi but she never did”. The two met through Salman Khan.

Talking about doing a potential film with Kaif, Kapoor stated, “Why not? She is not Sonam (Kapoor, his first cousin) or like … my real sister that I cannot work with her (as an on-screen couple). She’s a good friend and I am definitely open to work with her any day”.

Kapoor is gearing up for the release of ‘2 States’ in which he will be seen opposite Alia Bhatt. It’s slated for release on 18th April
