Arjun Kapoor on ‘Namaste England’: “Times have changed…”

2007’s ‘Namastey London’ has quite a cult following and with the second instalment of the franchise now on its way, lead actor Arjun Kapoor has spoken about how the story has moved on.

“It unfolds 10 years after Namaste London. Times have changed and thought processes have evolved, but if you liked that film, you’ll enjoy this one too. It’s vintage Hindi cinema in contemporary desi form with a videsi touch and will make you believe in love,” said Kapoor, as quoted by Pune Mirror.

He goes on to talk about his relationship with his first heroine Parineeti Chopra with who he’s reuniting with for the film, “But while a lot has changed in these six years, in a strange way between us, kuch nahin badla hai (nothing has changed). The fear and anxiety of a debut is gone, and the comfort level is higher”.
